And the bigger travesty is that they are going to release the 1st season of WKRP to DVD, except it is the version with all the replaced music.
The White Shadow - whoa, flashback.
Barney Miller - didn't it pretty much run it's course?

I think that guy looked at my iPod to create that list.
That site has a link to a story that says Andy Barker PI has been canceled. Poor Andy.

Andy Barker PI definately had it's moments, and maybe it's because I only saw the first 2 episodes, but I didn't think it was a very good show.

Already!?!?!
Another case of not giving a show a chance. I loved Andy Richter Controls the Universe. I hadn't had a chance to see then new one yet; what did it show - one or two episodes?
Edit: it has shown 3 episodes, and how now been shifted to the wasteland known as Saturday night. It is not expected to be renewed. link

Third Watch was a favorite of mine, cancelled a few years ago, never brought to North American DVD.
Recently, The Black Donnellys. I don't watch much new TV, but I enjoyed this series, and now it's gone.

Its funny, when I opened this thread I actually had Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared in mind, so I was surprised that they were actually on the list.

I loved Third Watch too. Watched it religiously and as much as I loved that show, I honestly think it was perhaps the right time to end it, simply because some of the stars of the show were planning on leaving, in particular Bosco. However, if they could have continued on with the same cast, it would have been great.
And the Black Donnellys is already cancelled? Didn't it just debut recently?

Yeah, it is being replaced by a reality show about wedding crashers.

I'll agree with that.
I'd like to add Playmakers to the list.

I am still mad that cancelled AD. I was really hoping Showtime wold pick it up. What a damn shame. That show would have brought us years of great entertainment.

Good call on Millenium. Great show that was far better than X-files.
Another one I thought of was a comedy with Jay Mohr called "Action" which was pretty darn great.
Also - relativity with Kimberly Williams was a Gen-X style dramedy that I enjoyed but not sure why.
More recently Kidnapped was a great show that debuted this fall but never got much of a chance. What was cool was that after NBC cancelled it, they allowed the unaired remaining eppies to be aired at nbc.com.

The Shadow went out fairly well, I believe they graduated the main characters out of high school...
WKRP had definitely jumped the shark when they were a top radio station
BM's time had definitely come...
How about the San Pedro Beach Bums?

From the list:
Push, Nevada - I loved the idea, and remember enjoying the show. All 7 episodes.
Andy Richter... - A good comedy. Nothing gold, but I'd enjoy it if it was on.
AD - It's all been said. Pretty much the most worthwhile 22 minutes of the week.
The Lone Gunmen - I watched it. The characters were lame. Exactly as advertised.

Everything said about AD, Brisco, Firefly, Futurama are all true. Loved those shows.
I totally agree with Firday night lights being a great show. It is one of the few shows I watch watch. Kind of hard to watch because the only time it is on is ABC, which is annoying because I like PVRing shows and I have no options with that show because it is only on at that time. It's good enough that I plan around it. Very well written. Surprised it is a bigger hit in the States.
