It used to be on YTV for 5+ years, every night, later at night, for some reason. It certainly grew on me....

"Yes Minister", as well..and that other one, with Hyacinth..can't remember the name now.

Realyl wondered why they were on YTV..about a year ago, that stopped.

Get some metamusil for stool softening.
Try not to wipe too excessively - paper is dry and that just irritates them more. Wipe with a wet warm tissue, pat dry.
Try using sids bath - soak them often in a bathtub.

All I can think of right now. Hope that helps.

Roids do not go away unless they are surgically removed or banded until they fall off.
If you take them lightly they will get worse and will eventually start bleeding.
As others mentioned...go see a Doctor and quit being paranoid about your body. The VAST majority of women get them after giving birth and men get them from gravity and lack of physical conditioning.

Two of the most common types of hemorrhoids are external and internal hemorrhoids.

External hemorrhoids are those that occur outside of the anal verge (the distal end of the anal canal). They are sometimes painful, and can be accompanied by swelling and irritation. Itching, although often thought to be a symptom from external hemorrhoids, is more commonly due to skin irritation. If the vein ruptures and a blood clot develops, the hemorrhoid becomes a thrombosed hemorrhoid.

Internal hemorrhoids are those that occur inside the rectum. As this area lacks pain receptors, internal hemorrhoids are usually not painful and most people are not aware that they have them. Internal hemorrhoids, however, may bleed when irritated. Untreated internal hemorrhoids can lead to two severe forms of hemorrhoids: prolapsed and strangulated hemorrhoids. Prolapsed hemorrhoids are internal hemorrhoids that are so distended that they are pushed outside of the anus.

If the anal sphincter muscle goes into spasm and traps a prolapsed hemorrhoid outside of the anal opening, the supply of blood is cut off, and the hemorrhoid becomes a strangulated hemorrhoid.

Well I can tell you its not from lack of physical conditioning,I workout 4 to 5 days a week.I think its due to the lack of fiber in my diet.

so you need to take care of the insideof your body as much as the outside. You probably talked to a personal trainer about your muscular self...now go talk to a specialist on the inside of your body.

Been poopin' some granite, eh?

In all seriousness, if you're going to add fibre make sure you drink more water, too. Getting bunged up with too much fibre is not a fun scene.

I have found that the best thing for chronic constipation is to eat a small portion of All Bran cereal every morning for at least a month or two. For me, once my system learned to go regularly, it was like I had developed a built in clock and had no further problems.

I agree though, for your own peace of mind, you should see a doctor - at a walk-in clinic if you don't have a regular GP.

another thing....you can take all the fibre in the world now...it will not get rid of the Roids....itlll only make the #####e slide past the speed bump faster!

Doctors will give you topical creams or suppositories to shrink them. If bad enough they will surgically remove or band them.
Over 70% of the population has or will get them...why suffer? If you grew a large wart on the end of your nose would you just forget about it or go see if you get it removed?

Drink water. Lots of water. Don't read while on the toilet.

If you're taking days off, go see a doctor.

Don't be a wimp! Get yer arse to the doctors!

I can't understand why someone wants to suffer when medical help is available.

because the roids drop out while sitting and reading. Then youd have to do something awful like pushing them back inside of you...just like those horror movies where the guys are disemboweled and try pushing their innards back into their gut.
Stop, plop and get off.

No problem

I think alot depends on you as to how long you will have them. Diet and exercise as well as preventative things like those mentioned above. If you are weightlifting - I would avoid doing squats for now as they can also cause hems to form. Contrary to what some on here have suggested, I would treat surgery as a last resort for your condition. Don't let a doc talk you into one until you have exhausted all possibilites. There are plenty of methods that will suffice before going under the knife.

Also, are you sure even you have Hems, Brownie? There are other things that can also happen down there that have similar symptoms to hems such as anal fissures which are like a small cut way up inside that can cause alot of pain when you're going.

If some of the self-help things above don't help then you should seek help. I know it can be embarassing to go to a doc about this but it's not something to play around with as your condition can get worse if its not treated.

Thanks again man,I am pretty sure its the hems, there is no blood or anything, but a lump.It seems to be getting a bit better after some warm baths the past 2 days and some prep H.If its no better tommorrow I will go to a clinic.I just have to find my health card.I am heavy on the fiber pills as well, pretty sure it was constipation that caused it.
