The Tigers should take the Dub. I thought they would when the playoffs started. In the Hat, it's the only game in town.

But I thought the Hitmen would put up a better showing. I also thought the Hitmen would do better last year too. I'm starting to wonder about Kisio's ability behind the bench.

Really? I think that's a bit harsh. Are you guys just looking for a whipping boy?

I think Schultz is a fine junior hockey defenseman. Maybe I don't see as many games as you guys, but I've always been impressed with Schultz. He seems capable of putting out fires in the defensive zone. He's able to move the puck up ice. He logs a lot of ice time and I bet you'd find any defenseman that spends as much time on the ice will make mistakes.

I think the Hitmen's problem is they have little offense. That puts more pressure on guys like Carson and Schultz.

Yeah offense was most of the problem today. The D were having a hell of a time making any sort of decent break-out passes though.

Schultz isnt my whipping boy for this series, Kisio takes that spot. I just dont think Schultz has what it takes. Id hoped he'd progress more over the years and get more comfortable out there but that didnt happen. But, who knows. Chara was nothing really special when he was younger either.

I totally agree never liked Schultz play and can't see him ever cracking the NHL
Schultz 1st round Washington
Carson 4th round Carolina
You tell me who has the better scouts

Schultz will crack the NHL based simply on his size. At 6'7", he'll get his shot. His shot will end quickly though unless he stops playing like he is 5'7".

Didn't really follow the games closely, but those of you that did how did Boyd look?

I think he is too soft, I don't see the grit needed to make it. I hope I am wrong but we will see

I didnt notice him as much. He certantly isnt as important to the Warriors as Jones, McArdle and Brouwer are. He struck me as fairly strong positionally though. Not a guy who is going to forget about the defensive end of the ice, typical of a Sutter pick.
