I texted a family member in Hamilton and he says he'll see what he can find out.

rube I think just needed some time, I think he is mostly okay but there are extenuating circumstances, jammies is taking a very extended break from all forms of social media, by his choice, Textcritic I think got a job in a far-off land, and I don't know about OOTC or Azure.

We will never have another poster like MMF again. He was one of a kind and not soon to be replicated 7 times under different usernames.

I've already written my CP obituary to be published on here by my lawyer upon my ultimate demise.
I have some problems with you people and when I'm dead you're going to hear all about them!!

Yeah rube and I exchanged DMs fairly regularly so I got the heads up that he was planning to take a break. Glad to know jammies is OK!

My mental health would get so much better if I could accomplish this. Addicted, I am.

Well...I cannot attest to that per se. I do the taxes for a few of his friends and they can't get a hold of him either. I'm told he is alright, but radio/text/internet silent.
So, that is what it is.

I remember a post from jammies that was scathing, teese, and completely warranted. It was a reply to someone in financial trouble who wanted to buy a new car. When I first read the post my first thought was I wish I could post like that.

Usually when we get those kind of requests we ban the account but put the title to "Retired" or "Self Imposed Ban" or something like that to try and make it show they weren't banned for something bad and that it was voluntary.
Though if I was to nope out of something I probably wouldn't care enough to let them know I was doing so.

Been on this board since 2002, so I know several posters that have left the board by choice, to break from CP and just social media outlets in general (and some permanently). TBH I think it's super healthy; never a bad thing to take a break and reset and re-connect away from a screen.

Locke is directly linked to two missing poster now.

I'm not saying Locke is a serial killer, I'm just asking questions.
