Happy to see that Brzuz draws back in, it made little sense for him to scratched as much as he had been over the last few games.
It is weird that Hunt plays ahead of a younger player but whatever.

Stromgren must be showing very poorly in the optional or morning skates. No practices I don't think? Just zero trust there. Didn't even get moved up to the open spot by Backlund whose whole thing is taking kids under his wing.

That 4th line is so useless on a rebuilding team
Scratch Stromgren and don't have Morton or Kerins in the lineup so we can dress Lomberg-Kirkland-Hunt.

If that's true, then I have no hard feelings. I would've probably done the same thing in his place. Why not live in a city for a couple of months and see how you like it, and how well you fit into the locker room.
It all comes down to how he values the 8th year, and injury insurance vs a bidding war, and a choice of a destination.

By all accounts both him and Morton have had really nice years in the AHL and by not at least giving them a fair shake at a handful of games, with real minutes seems quite bizarre on a team going nowhere this year. Neither player looked woefully out of place in what little time they were afforded, and it really is a headscratcher to not assume that they can only improve with more reps.

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.
