^ speaking of Peterborough, how was that only Fitzgerald's third point of the season?

Very disappointing, I really like that kid.

Still plenty of hockey to play, hopefully he can pick it up.

Oct.10th:

As mentioned, Battaglia picks up 3g, 1a, and was +3 in a 9-1 win over the Petes- they obviously were upset by the outcome of the previous night's contest, a 5-2 loss to the same team. Batts earns first star honors, and is now at 6gp/5g/3a/8pts,+3, 4 PIM, tied for 24th in OHL scoring, and 6th in goals.

Hurtig gets no points, but was +3 as the Hitmen beat the Tigers, 4-2. 3gp/1g/0a/1pt,+2, 2 PIM.

Laing is all zeroes (other than 1 shot) in a 4-1 win over Speedy Creek. 6gp/4g/4a/8pts,+3, 2 PIM, tied for 23rd in WHL scoring.

2026 Draft-eligible JP Hurlbert leads the WHL in both goals (9), and points (16) in just 6 games.

Speaking of the Kingston Frontenacs, they might have the best/most infuriating goal song I've ever heard.

Imagine being a Peterborough fan Friday night and having to hear that nine times.

I didn't have Battaglia under a point game 11 games into the season on my bingo card.

I guess his saving grace is that he seems quite streaky, so he might be going on a tear soon...
