Okay we are done because you are being immature and don't realize that you misspoke, not me. I was just having some fun, but you can't figure that out and chose to use the stupidest escape you could.

I am the furthest thing from a fan of the Oilers.

And of course, you saying that this is what an Oilers fan would say is incoming.

Sure, I'll bite.

Really? No cause for optimism for Flames future?

Parekh, Wolf, Coronato

The fact that the 2024 draft looks like a huge windfall for the organizational depth. Plus the 2025 draft is right around the corner - always exciting

Potential Rasmus Andersson trade coming soon, resulting in more assets

New arena coming soon

Best Jerseys in the league

One bad season away from a potential franchise-defining draft in 2026.. OR a chance at seeing the kids in the playoffs next season.

I dunno man. I was pretty frustrated with the finish to the season and the middling draft pick but taking some time away these last few weeks.. I'm starting to feel optimistic about the direction we're heading again. It seems like we have depth at every position, just desperately need to sign/draft/trade for a top-line over the next 2-3 years. Not easy to do, but we're overdue for some good luck.

The Oilers are going to win the Cup.

This sucks, and to make it feel better I put money on them so their win stinks less. At least I'll make some bucks, or if Florida wins.. I win

One benefit to north Vancouver. It’s always raining so it’s easy hide it.

I find myself caring a lot less this year than I did last year. I'm not sure why that is... maybe I am just getting more used to constant gut punches.

Agreed. Resigned to this proving that even with terrible management, etc that generational talent will probably always win. Probably also why Flames never will

Vancouver has the best weather in Canada!! (except for 7 months of the year when it can go 7 straight days overcast without the sun ever peeking through...)

You're talking about Calgary like it's Edmonton or something. Both Calgary and Vancouver are world-class cities, just with different vibes. No need to be crapping on it unnecessarily.

Everything east of the Rockies is Edmonton as far as I'm concerned. You all live in sadness and squalor. It's icky.

Sun gives you cancer! The white pasty skin is healthier!

Very true. And it should be pretty ####ing easy to find more enjoyable and fulfilling things than watching the Oilers.
