Flames just need a stable LD to keep the currently less than ideal rotation (Hanley, Miromanov) in the press box, maybe Solo is that guy. I don't know. I'd put money that Grushnikov is the guy over any of them but that's looking more like a next season thing.
If they're keeping Razz long term the Miromanov isn't long for this roster. Especially with Weegar and Pachal in the foreseeable future and the Parekh, BRZ and Mews down the road. Even then I think the Flames will have to make some really tough decision in the next 3 years about their RD depth.

The big thing for the franchise in general is not to panic and throw away assets trying to make the playoffs. They’ve had a great season all things considered, but there’s no need to rush the process. Just keep playing, patch things up internally and hope the team gets back on track.
I suspect they’ll fall just short, in part because the Canucks are more desperate for that last playoff spot and will give up assets to get it.

Like Conroy said. They made a ton of moves in the last year. Time to let it soak. More tweaks in the summer and adjust things for training camp.

GM moves - make changes to the team roster
- Assign Hunt back to the AHL
- Put Barrie on waivers or trade him
- Put Miromanov on waivers to send to the AHL to get some bigger minutes and get back on track for what the team thought he was going to become
Coach moves - utilize the players on the team roster
- Update O lines for Zary's return. Go for a 1/2/3a/3b for minutes. Players in bold stick together to build chemistry and players in italics move around the lines if needed.
Huberdeau - Kadri - Pospisil
Farabee - Frost - Sharangovich
Lomberg - Zary - Coronato
Coleman - Backlund - Klapka
- Update the D lines for Bahl's return
Bahl - Andersson
Solovyov - Weegar
Bean - Pachal
X: Rooney, Hanley, <Other Wrangler forward to rotate with Klapka>
But perhaps most importantly, Huska needs to find some ways to steal games on this nightmare road trip.

Gotta battle-test Wolf to see if he's capable of carrying the heavy load yet. So, have no problem with that process.

Wow...you give up easy. Playing poker with you must be an enriching experience! (kidding)
Meanwhile...checks notes...there are 27 games left. 54 potential points. We are ONLY THREE points behind the 'Nucks, 8 behind COL (2 GIH though), and three ahead of UHC (1 GIH). I just don't see that as a ship that's sailed. Tough sledding? No doubt....but forked? Don't count on it.

Both Calgary and Vancouver can catch the Kings.
Imagine eliminating the greasers and canuknuckleheads in successive rounds.

i trust in huska developing d and flames organization in general on development.
They know when kuz and solo are good. no need to rush.
Our problem is shutting down elite players. Partly on anderson i feel but its a team approach and we need size. big d on cup winning teams

Why? Legitimately wondering. The AHL is a top pro league and I would think it would be tougher travel and road trips, and way less creature comforts in between.

He should ramp up his swearing in the dressing room until the Flames' social media team has to upload a postgame video that's completely silent, rather than the 40% silent most are now.
