Advantage Blues for no reason.
I would imagine the building was free tomorrow since they don’t have another pro team.

It would have actually been fun to do it that way a bit of an old school playoff feel.

NHL to the rescue to take anything fun out.

Let's see how they do on Thursday. I somehow assumed that this was a home-and-home set, but it is two in St. Louis. I somehow missed that. With rest, I am curious if the Flames end up looking like the better team. Tonight, there were ebbs and flows both ways, but I didn't really think either team was better than the other.

Also, Vladar was great tonight, I thought. A bit of an issue with rebound control to start, but I think that can happen when you don't play regularly. I thought he was otherwise sensational tonight - made some big saves at important times. He may not have been able to steal this game, but he more than gave the Flames a chance to win.

I figured they would probably lose that one. But I do believe they will win the next one.

Hanley and Rooney should probably not be in the NHL, probably Bean too.

Duehr and Sharky need to get their games back too. We've certainly given Walker enough time, and Yegor's struggles are getting old (so weak on the puck).

Both scored just last night...Hanley has also been playing quite well

Are they what they were last night, or for most of the season?

I'm happy for them, but we need upgrades in those spots IMO.

Do teams ever play back to back at home? Calgary never does.

Has there ever been a post game thread with 30 posts in a night? Especially an early start.

I love Backs but he wears the goat horns tonight. High risk play lead to a turnover that cost us at least a point. No issue with the overall effort especially on a b2b or Vladar's play.

The No Goods did at the beginning of the season when they got beat by Chicago and then the Flames the next night.

Team played hard. They will get the next one. Coronato is like a dog on a bone out there.

We better. Watching the Flames hand Binnington wins is irksome.

We had a chance at burying the Blues playoff chances with a 4 point game. And we decided to start Vladar.

I don't care how good he played in the last few periods, he let out a ridiculous rebound on the first shot and we are immediately down. And that was that

Your most important game of the year, and you play your 3rd best goalie on the team.

Jeez, there are few enough posts in the thread you could read them

Hanley weakly backhanded a loose scramble puck to Parayko

Everybody bitching about Backs and Vladar

Maybe it happened too fast for people to notice

We did have a chance to create separation (sigh) but it was the meager offense that kept them from picking up points. Vladar did well enough and better than I expected.

Need to create more and show urgency to score before the 2-1 goal midway through the 3rd
