It's odd that Huska has Kuzmenko on such a short leash but Sharangovich gets the longest.

He has to earn the second H by throwing a single hit.

Nothing worse when your team extends what appears to be a good player and then they immediatley turn into dog ####.

Paging Sharangovich....

Do you guys not know Kuz had a lower body injury for a few games?

Too bad the Flames don’t score for Vladar

Loved the effort, especially Vladar. I thought it was actually a really close game outside of a few great chances for Vegas in the first 10 minutes. Full credit to them on the back to back road games, especially with the start time difference (that really does mess up players).

I'm not mad, just frustrated. I'd at least like to have seen one goal from this team. Offense is going to be a problem for the rest of the year. I don't see Kuzmenko or Sharky having a big swing back towards being major offense contributors.

It might be Kuzmenko's last year in the league. He looks awful out there, and brutally selfish too.

Sharangovich is here on a long term commitment with his new contract. Got to find a way to get him going. Kuzmenko probably won’t be with the team for much longer based on his play.

One is a pending UFA who might be playing in Europe next season and the other just signed a contract extension and will be around a few years.

Gotta try getting the one sticking around going offensively and hope for the best.

edit: beaten to it

Kuzmenko will most likely never get another NHL contract after this season. Back to Europe would be my guess.

Powerplay cost them the game tonight.

You have to score when you have an almost full 2 minute 5-3 and 4 minute powerplay in a 0-0 game.

Well, can't win em all and now is about the time that the real contenders start shifting gears so from here on out it'll be interesting to see how this offensively stunted group fares the rest of the way.

They need one guy that can shoot the puck in the net. It would change their whole team dynamic.

Paging Sharongovich/Kuzmenko.

Feel sorry for our goalies. Get zero run support.

Fans routinely overestimate the value of a 5-on-3. Historically, teams with a full two-minute 5-on-3 score only about 50% of the time.

Anyway, a single power-play goal might have made this game more fun to watch, but it wouldn't have changed the outcome.

50% of the time seems super successful to me TBH...

If they score there it might change the outcome. They would have had a 1-0 lead heading into the second and would have had the momentum as it would have been a late period goal and would have still had time left on the 4 minute PP.

If the Flames score one there my guess is this game ends up being another OT/SO toss up

He’s probably the guy I’m the most disappointed in. Or maybe one of the few. I was excited to see what he could do this year as he finished last year pretty hot.

Apparently the answer is nothing.

I would have liked to see the lines shuffled to try and create one line with a little more offensive mindset.

Vegas is a great team, hopefully they steamroll the McOilers.
Why not try Kerins. At this point what do you have to lose?

Might be the only guy in the Flames organization that could pick a top corner.

Where did you get the data for that?
