It will be really interesting to see how he does in college against peers.
His run way is shorter than most draft picks by being drafted at 20 but I still think this is a bet on talent.

I'm with you, it will be interesting to see how he steps into a league with much better competition (but also much better teammates)

Maybe I am misremembering but I thought he was awful in his few games with the Flames this year.

He was mediocre to bad in my opinion. I still don't understand the trade myself. Felt like a low percentage play at the time and now he may never return.

He’s probably not even a prospect, played 52 games in the NHL this year
