absolutely love how RHD has suddenly become the biggest strength in our prospect pool. First Brzustewicz, now you add Parekh and Mews? All your high scoring RHDs from the OHL belong to us! Awesome to see.
Centers were just not there when the Flames picked this year. Next year this team is going to be picking very high, and there are several centers in 2025 that will blow this draft out of the water. It looks very strategic to me. Couldn't be happier.

Looking forward to this year's prospect rankings vote. Should be some good discussion.

Conditions at play, but the likeliest outcome seems to be we will have our own and New Jersey's first rounders in 2025.

There really were only 3 or 4 centers in this draft of top tier quality. Celebrini, Lindstrom, Helenius and maybe Hage. Then a drop off.

If the Flames weren't able to land them, I get how they went about their business. It's a good day. A rock solid day that we fans can pour over for a long time and watch as it unfolds.

In a draft with a lot of skilled size available, the Flames focused on the elite skills. Very surprising from the team. Love the upside between Gridin/Mews/Zarubin/Misa and maybe one of the others will do some damage. Hopefully Parekh finds himself in the rafters in 20 years, he’s got the game to do so.

The later picks, who knows - they got three 1st round talents in their first three picks, and I like the way Battaglia looks as well.

The entire class isn’t gonna play, but those top four guys all look like they can make NHL contributions.

Beautiful A-level Draft.

Ridiculous/inZayne Upside.

When is prospect camp?

We generally debate the prospect list during that camp, and then launch round one when it concludes.

I didn’t say I need A+ and must evaluate what it would take to get there. Just that it’s not A+ because that’s what would make it A+ in my mind. Don’t really desire to debate hypotheticals.

I wasn't excited about the Gridin pick, but the second day more than made up for it. Great draft.

Also happy that they did not trade picks in future years for now. There is a ton of value having a constant pipeline of prospects one year after the next.

Not that it means anything as I am not a scout or someone who is able to watch most of these guys first hand. I rely almost completely on YouTube videos, write-ups, and what other people say.

Have said that, 6 of the 10 guys we drafted were all players that I had on my radar as picks I was hoping the Flames would or could make. Not necessarily in the order I expected, but whatever. It’s the first time ever I experienced a draft like this, so I definitely rate it as an A+. Just amazing and it feels like we fell into a few value picks.

Thank you Sandman and Cral for all your work in this. It really helped me get a good feel this year.

Craig Conroy and co. did extremely well. Like others have said, Parekh, Basha, Mews and Misa are clearly stand-out selections.
