This should be an easy 2 points as long as they show up focused and ready to play. Hopefully they're not looking too far ahead to the Avs game tomorrow.
I had fricken chills after Darryl’s post TB game press conference. And now reading that Gilbertson quote. I’ve had a lot of cautious optimism/apprehension this season (36 years of cheering for this team will do that to a guy) but I’ll be damned. The old Farmer is gonna go out and bring us that F’n Cup isn’t he ?

I'd hope it's Vladar tonight. Gotta save Marky for tomorrow.
I think it will be the opposite. Coaches these days are putting their best options into winning the most winnable games. Colorado is the kind of game I am expecting the Flames to lose. Win against Detroit at home, and that is 3/5 guaranteed in the seven days from Hell. Anything beyond that is a bonus.

I agree. Another reason for Vladar against Colorado is you don't want your starter to hurt themselves playing tired after a late night with travel. Let the young guy try to steal another one.

The Flames do not lose games. They simply sometimes have less chance of winning.

Yup to both of these, Markstrom is the starter tonight. They aren’t putting him into a position to potentially get shelled. At worst tomorrow is a split with Colorado, which is a win already for this crazy month in their schedule.
If I am Sutter, I would start Markstrom tonight and throw Vladar to the wolves again in Colorado tomorrow.
He won there last week and there is zero reason to show them Markstrom in my opinion. Tomorrow will be a huge Challenge, give Vladar the chance to beat them again.
I was thinking that too, but I feel like a large factor in Vladar getting that start last week was Sutter's lack of confidence in him at home vs his confidence in him on the road.
