This should be an easy 2 points as long as they show up focused and ready to play. Hopefully they're not looking too far ahead to the Avs game tomorrow.

COL is to good and far to deep to go on a longish losing streak.

Mathematically its possible but mathematically its also possible that the Yotes make the playoffs and the grease win the division.

Not happenin....but it would be epic.

I had fricken chills after Darryl’s post TB game press conference. And now reading that Gilbertson quote. I’ve had a lot of cautious optimism/apprehension this season (36 years of cheering for this team will do that to a guy) but I’ll be damned. The old Farmer is gonna go out and bring us that F’n Cup isn’t he ?

I think it will be the opposite. Coaches these days are putting their best options into winning the most winnable games. Colorado is the kind of game I am expecting the Flames to lose. Win against Detroit at home, and that is 3/5 guaranteed in the seven days from Hell. Anything beyond that is a bonus.

I agree. Another reason for Vladar against Colorado is you don't want your starter to hurt themselves playing tired after a late night with travel. Let the young guy try to steal another one.

Plus Edmonton at 4th hardest.

I can see Markstrom getting the start and if he has an easy night, go again tomorrow.

Love that Tankathon has Edmonton with the fourth hardest schedule and the game against Calgary in their toughest games!

Was hoping for that Edmonton logo in Calgary's easiest games though!

The Flames do not lose games. They simply sometimes have less chance of winning.

Yes, you can no problem. Also, depending on your timing you may get to share the ride with management or media coming up from below.

Yup to both of these, Markstrom is the starter tonight. They aren’t putting him into a position to potentially get shelled. At worst tomorrow is a split with Colorado, which is a win already for this crazy month in their schedule.

I was thinking that too, but I feel like a large factor in Vladar getting that start last week was Sutter's lack of confidence in him at home vs his confidence in him on the road.

Either way, In Sutter I Trust!
