I'm so happy the Flames are doing this the right way. Should be a great ceremony, and I'm betting the fans are gonna go crazy. Welcome home, Iggy!
As for the game itself, I expect we'll probably see a sloppy, lazy effort from both teams due to the ceremony. Not to mention it's the first game back from a road trip for the Flames. Hopefully the guys can stay focused after all the pre-game hoopla. As long as they show up, they should win this one.

Said screw it, bought some tickets and came down from Fort Mac for the game. In the nosebleeds, but really looking forward to tonight!

...I am not even sure how that would happen, but I can’t wait to find out.

They’re playing a game tonight? You mean it won’t be just 3 hours of watching Iggy highlights on the jumbotron?
Predicting a 3-1 Flames win. Goals by Iginla, Monahan (assisted by Iginla), and Ryan (EN, with Iginla in the box after fighting Staal).
GFG! GIG!

I was fortunate to be in attendance, lower bowl, flames shooting end in Vancouver when he scored his 50th.
What an amazing atmosphere that was.
Also incredibly fortunate to be downtown at Robson and Granville for the golden goal wearing my iginla team Canada jersey. It is one of my favorites and I will be wearing it for tonight's game.
Maybe my single most memorable Iginla memory of all time: The golden assist.

I really hope in the middle of Iginla's speech he drops one of these
Then signs a contract on ice and suits up with the boys.
We get him on the PP and we finally have a one timer threat and go on to win the cup in 4 over Tampa for redemption.

Myself or my girlfriend will likely be wearing the same one. I brought us a few to choose from!
