2 stood out to me. Toronto with no one over 1000 as already pointed out and Oli Jokinen the highest on Florida. They haven't had a very good franchise.

I think there again I was looking at the wrong column. But I also thought he was a little younger and had some more time (and is a froward versus defenceman).

Fla has had pretty bad luck at the draft. Just missed Kariya in their first one and ended up with Rob Neidermayer . Got the first overall the next year, but a really weak draft and they took Jovo (a proper pick). Picked Radek Dvorak one before missing on Iggy the next year (but at number 10 it's kind of a pick 'em).

Then they were not bad enough to get good picks for a while. When they dropped again, their high picks were in weak drafts (01, 02) or they were one or two picks behind a much better player (Staal versus Horton, Wheeler versus Olesz).

Hockey reference used those to indicate who has made the HHOF. I removed em all but that one I guess.

Bourque scored a crazy amount of points for a d-man.

Wheeler will pass Kovalchuk for the Jets for sure. Man in 8 years did that guy every fill the net up though.

d PPG list is interesting. 3 former Flames feature quite high. Bourque just below the two point per game guys Orr and Coffey and then Potvin

Yea he did, I did notice however Coffey's numbers are actually quite better.. surprisingly enough (i had no idea)

203 less games played vs Bourque and only 48 pts behind and almost 800 more penalty minutes as well.
Crazy to think had he been healthy, he could have the lead by over 130+ points more if kept at his 1ppg pace.

Hawerchuk had 929 points as a Jet (franchise became Coyotes).

Coffey was way more offensive minded (to a fault) plus he played with much more offensive minded teams.

And he played 6 years with some guy who scored 200 points 4 times (and never less than 183), plus a few other good players. Then he goes and plays on a team with another guy who scores 168, 199, 123 (in 59 games), 45 (in 23 games) and 131 (plus a few other good players). Then he goes and joins the first guy (and a few other good players) on a new team. Then he plays with Steve Y, Sergei F and the rest of the stacked Wings. Oh, and then goes and plays with Eric Lindros and Ron Francis to wind up the old career.

Playing from age 19 until 39 doesn't hurt.

Oh I agree. When the Coyotes retired his jersey it was a nice gesture but no one had a clue who the hell he was.
