Eddie Lack is up with the NJ Devils? I thought he went straight to the minors after the deal. Is KinKaid injured or Schneider?

Schneider is injured.

Eddie Lack has an absolute robbery of a contract given his play. He made 2.5 million this year and 3 million next year. There are a lot of players in his situation on league minimum 2 way contracts. I really don't feel for Lack at all. He basically turned a brief stint of good play in Vancouver into almost 10 mil in earnings.

Never did like it that he had him as a Canuck on his mask. Huge red flag.

He didn't. It was a picture of his dad.

Little surprised in Lack's comments considering he was given an opportunity with support here to rediscover his game. The Flames really didn't have time to sort out the goaltender situation and needed a competent backup. Rittich came in and did what Lack was unable to do; So not sure why Lack feels he didn't get a fair shake. I am pretty sure if Rittich wasn't getting the job done the plan was to give Lack some playing time and get him back up. The Flames gave him ample opportunity, he needs to point that finger at himself and not make excuses for his lack of play.

But his dad had a Canucks hat on. Same same but different. Still a red flag.

Come on. I'm trying to manufacture hate here.

Wow Lack is clueless. 1B goalies are ones who inspire confidence they can take over for an extended period of time. Lack couldn't even inspire confidence to take over for one period.

Eddie Lack was probably the worst backup I've ever seen on this team, including Hiller. Yikes was he bad.

Come on Eddie. If Schneider is healthy he's a top 5 guy in games started.

Yeah and the Devils are the franchise that had Brodeur playing 75 games a year for a decade lol.

Holy delusional batman. Lack must've still been drunk on nuck coolaid.

So how did this work? Endorsed by Glen came in and did squat and now this is his delusion of grandeur.

Good luck with that Eddie.

Sounds mean to say it but Lack just isn't mentally tough enough to be a starter in this league. I think almost all fans were wishing him the best and wanting him to succeed, but as soon as things started to go a bit bad he fell apart and couldn't seem to recover. I thought the first couple goals against weren't that bad but he never shook it off.

And I didn't like his Lack of being able to make a big save when the team needed it. Not all the goals he let in were bad but it seemed like every good scoring chance that got on net went in. Rittich took over and actually was able to make those saves so he got more starts.
