man, that's some ####ed up logic right there. "How can we possibly turn things around? How about we traumatize our players by slaughtering an animal in front of them and let them skate in its blood? Yeah, that will help."

Planting a loonie into centre ice is about the same kinda thing. Now the goat will get a coin or a stamp.

Maybe the Flames have a lamb roast and instead of the butcher slaughtering it at his shop, they do it at the dome. Same thing, just different location. The voodoo may or may not help, but worth a try.

They missed the part of the story where the coach said "let this be a lesson to the rest of you..."

depends on how tonight's game goes.
edit: if boredom gets the better of me I might just end up doing Barys Astana game day threads, with a different sacrifice each game.

I guess the Flames would have to sacrifice a cow and do the slaughter - on both the cow and the other team!
Ken King - please read!

Bring a BBQ onto the ice and call it a 'Team Building Exercise.'
"Come on Troy....you have to skin it....you were told that if you didnt have 20 points by now you'd have to skin the cow. Yes, I know we only gave you a melon-baller but again, thats your fault....now get to it."
