The forum server appears to be dying. It's obviously a sign that the Flames will finally break this godforsaken streak.

Stupidest streak in all of professional sports around the world belongs to the Flames losing at the Honda Center for the past 14 years. So f'ing stupid
If the Flames by some miracle manage to win, I'll have no qualms about them facing the Ducks in round 1. They will have proven that they can beat them on home ice finally.

Would love for them to finally win and get this monkey (well, duck) off their backs.
Would rather anyone else in the playoffs (see battle vs. Chicago thread), but yes if its going to be the Ducks may as well go in on as high a note as possible.
Also, please start Elliott.

I've long ago resigned games in Anaheim as automatic losses. I expect an early Ducks goal, several lucky bounces that result in more Ducks goals, and Kesler with a multiple point night. I'm sure there's some ancient stone tablet buried under the ice at Honda Center that stipulates these things

In case people missed my posts from last month in the drunkpuck.com thread. Back on March 7th I have completed measures to ensure the end of the curse.
Flames will win tonight, you're welcome!

The whole curse ends today stuff hasnt worked the previous X times, so for that I am going to mix up my prediction for once....
Today is the day the flames get spanked in Anaheim to extend the curse, a curse that will carry on for 20 more years.
Johny will be a non factor, we make a goaltending switch and the team looks like the least competitive team heading into playoffs.

I do not want to hear about the damn curse all bloody week next week assuming the flames play the ducks in round 1. Because if they do play each other, you know that's the story heading Into the series, and nothing else.
Win tonight, and those headlines are gone.
Rest players tonight? Laughable notion at best.

We need voodoo dolls of Kesler, Perry, Getzlaf, Bieksa, and Bernier. Where's Puppet guy when you need him?

I expect an old fashion duck roast! Its beyond time for us to embarrass this team of absolute ######s. We need to show that we can hang with these guys tonight if the team is going to have any chance against them in round one.
P.S. Ferland if you fight tonight please make it Kesler Or Bieksa, or both!

Well after reading HDs post the curse will be lifted....He said he soiled the place.....Ha.
But in all seriousness we need to establish something with the ducks right off the bat when it comes to stickwork.
That last game watching Kesler and Beiksa made me sick and then add in Perry....Smh.
I don't want to see brawls or suspensions but if they start we need to finish and it has nothing to do with the curse.
I'll never forget losing to the Hawks years ago and I actually think it was Brouwer mouthing off and Kane as well telling Iginla he was slow and no good and yada yada ......They got in our heads and I think this is no different.
This team has allot to be proud of and this all sounds like cheerleading but We need to be engaged 100% here as I know Tkachuk will be at his best tonight and he's even gotten Backs playing with an edge so that's a good start.
Stick to systems and possess the puck and play our game and we win.
The minute the ducks dictate we lose. No mistakes tonight as every mistake the team made last game was a goal.
Everybody plays all 3 zones , finishes checks, lots of shots, screens, bump Bernier a few times, spray some snow ,wash some faces.
You know the ducks will be doing it.
Just win boys .
