Many of Bahrain's track and field athletes are from other countries. They have some high performing runners from Jamaica in the short distances.

Ali Khamis is a promising young true Bahraini athlete though who made it to the finals in the 400m.

US has also been known to do this in the past, wherein athletes from other countries will compete for them.

Canada's Mohammad Ahmed (10,000m) is born in Somalia

Canada's table tennis player Eugene Wang, was born in China and competed under the Canadian Flag, to make it to the olympics
