Semi-Finals are tonight at 7, should be on CBC. I believe that the Final will go tomorrow night.

Wow TKD has changed a lot since I did it. 3 points for a spinning torso kick and 4 points for a spinning kick? wtf. Why are they giving out style points? So stupid.
When I did it it was 1 point for a torso kick and 3 points for a head shot.
Especially cause while spin kicks look really cool, the last thing you want to do in an actual fight is turn around....

Agreed, there's no way this much success was expected in the pool. Great to see.

I'm not familiar with field hockey so I'm curious as to why they water down the field? I saw some highlights earlier in the Olympics and figured that it must have rained before the game but the field is wet again during the Canada match.

Apparently it makes the ball roll truer. Less bouncy.
Field hockey should be full contact.

I don't think it needs to be full contact but it certainly needs to be more relaxed in terms of aggression. Seems weird that it is a turnover/penalty if a player on offense tries to move through a player in a defensive position. Full contact would essentially make it lacrosse played on the ground instead of through the air.

The water also protects against turf degradation.

I am glad they won, but man they need to get rid of the rule that allows a serve to hit the net. What a terrible way to end a match with a pathetic roll over the net on a serve attempt.
