A lot of good matches with AcGold. Some close ones in OT which was exciting. Last match of the night with this last second goal... Wasn't sure if it was going to make it.
That was great last night, my favorite was the triple pass off the bumper and in goal. Least favorite scoring on us and the opposition giving me nice shot compliments.
The one team that beat us handily was impossible to stop.
So do you guys take the shots with ball cam on or off?
So far I'm finding Ball Cam is good tracking the ball when on offense, and normal cam better for defense so you can smash into people to knock them out of play.

Yeah, this game is pretty rad. I try to sit back and jump on loose balls too. When I'm close to the ball, I'm still pretty useless lol. On PC, jayocal.
Does anyone know how the ranking points system is supposed to work? I kept track of my point total for 5 games, and those games alternated W-L-W-L-W. The points I received as a result were +6, -30, +15, -20, +30. It seems completely random, how the hell are you supposed to rank up when a couple of losses can arbitrarily set you back such a huge amount?

My airball game is weak though, you had some damn nice acrobatic goals. And damn was it fun to finally play with teammates that could actually take advantage of centering passes, I'm usually pretty good at getting the ball out front when going into the corners but in pub games no one is ever in position to do anything about it. Really wish you could play ranked matches with a 3 man group
Kinda funny though how we absolutely dominated every game but that one where absolutely nothing went right. Gave me some more appreciation for hockey players when the bounces just won't come
Had a guy on my team tell me to 'stop stealing shots' today. Maybe a valid complaint, except that I had three goals, an assist, and a couple saves as the MVP of a solid 5-2 win. Just told him I wasn't too worried about it and he left in a huff. Some people's egos just can't take being outshone, even when they win the game.

I couldn't care less if someone "stole" the ball from me and actually scored, but 99% of the time they screw up what would have been for me a 80%-90% likely goal. That's a massive PITA.
