I went with possible first ballot Hall of Famer Mason McDonald!

Man I want to vote Andersson. Just something so likable in his interviews. Almost like Conroy.
Voted for Spoon though.

McDonald.

Lots of defensible choices here. Wotherspoon has shown he can play in the NHL so he probably deserves the win but I get the feeling Flames don't have high expectations. He was playing mainly beause no one else was close to ready.

McDonald is on the upswing and he started as a legit 2nd rounder, best goalie in his draft class.

I kind of feel like prospects 3 through 14 could be in any order and you could justify it.

I think there are more than 1 or 2 future NHLers on this list. Could be well more.

Who has the highest "guy I voted for won" ratio?

I'm 7 for 10 through 10 rounds, but looking like I'm out on this one sending me to 7/11

Yeah, I think I am with you on this. All the talk about who this year's 'Jooris' will be, people aren't looking on the blue line. Who says Culkin can't make the jump the first time a regular is injured?

Potential Jooris candidates
- Bill Arnold
- Ryan Culkin
- Kenny Morrison
- Agostino
- Wolf

But even those guys are somewhat known. Jooris was one of the lowest ranked prospects so I think to be a true Jooris candidate you are looking at someone coming completely out of nowhere to steal a spot like:
- Elson
- Hathaway
- Van Brabant

Those 3 would be the true Jooris candidates this year I think.

Really hope that no one or at least not many are voting like this. The whole "guy I voted for won" self satisfaction is fine if it's actually the prospect you feel is best. Hate to see votes going to guess the popular vote game though.

For sure ... and I certainly didn't vote that way.

But I do know how frustrating it is to vote for the same guy for 11 straight rounds!

I think most people vote this way.....whether they are conscious of it or not..

Considering how many players "won" their respective round with a low majority or minority percentage, I think "most" is an out to lunch statement.

I went with Morrison and I think he's the closest to being a full time NHL player, even over Spoon. Either or works for me though. McDonald and then Andersson would be my next choices.

I stick to my personal list. It is usually very similar to the voting, at least through the top 10, but this year Ferland, Granlund and Wotherspoon have been causing me a lot of repeated votes.

Yep, for me there is little separation between Andersson, McDonald, and Wotherspoon. I think you could even slot Arnold into that group.

Went with Andersson this round, would go McDonald -> Wotherspoon -> Arnold -> Morrison next.

Andersson but I immediately has voters remorse as I feel Bill Arnold should be getting my vote.

Wotherspoon really dropped on my list this year, which just shows the depth of the Flames prospects right now. Probably unfairly ranking him lower than he should be, but I believe McDonald is our second best goalie prospect (behind Gillies) and really has the potential for being a number one. After that, I still have Agostino higher than Wotherspoon, probably would put Wotherspoon 13th if he was still around by then.

Hope people start jumping on the Agostino vote soon, his rookie season with the Baby Flames was very impressive, think he's just got just a little bit more talent than Arnold, yet Arnold seems to be getting the majority of the attention right now.

I think it's more of what you value more: where the prospect is at in terms of NHL readiness, versus top end potential and likelihood of reaching that potential.
