The way the chief pronounces it, it sounds like Wittle/Little, but online, others are saying Woodall.

Really wish global news would stop showing what is obviously the deceased cop on the ground, surrounded by his coworkers.

I'm shaken up over this tragedy. RIP CST. Woodall.

That isn't the deceased cop, that's Sgt Harley. They help him into a vehicle. Unless you're seeing some other, newer picture.

I'm seeing a cop laying on the ground surrounded by other uniformed members.

My dad was with the EPS, and I remember when Ezio Faraone was killed 25 years ago. I was 8 years old and scared out of my mind that my dad might not come home one night...he always did. Two young children and a wife won't get to experience the relief I did. Very sad.

I would have to believe if that was Cst Woodall, fellow officers would be performing life saving measures on him rather then standing there looking on. They would be trying to get him to EMS far quicker.

I quoted this post cause I was recently pulled over by Ritchie on this list. Great guy, didn't get a ticket (22 in a 20 km/h zone but he saw me throw on the brakes).

I cringe every time I see the cop hate on FB. One of my Ward 8 candidate was a anti cop nut. Did not vote for him.

Police are a public service. We need them. Times are tough and the crazies are coming out of the woodwork.

This made the news on an American channel today. The news part however, was that this was the fist police shooting fatality in "Edmonton Canada" since 1990 something.
