I would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork than watch that game again..

It's not only Hiller, I thought some of those we could have played Florida a little stronger to prevent those weird situations -sigh- move on to the next, time for an orca roast to lift our spirits

This is one of those games where I 'accept reality'.. this is a 'rebuild' year and expectations were never to make the playoffs. It would be cool and amazing if they did and it's fun for them to be in the thick of things but it's not likely going to be playoffs in 14/15.

Watching Hiller scares me...even on the nights when he is better than tonight. He seems to let the puck hit him rather than him stop the puck. He also is awful on anything from the side of the net or with guys behind the net.

Wideman has to come up with the puck behind the net on the 6th goalie. Soft, soft, soft...

The goat to me was the airport handlers that lost Ortios contact lenses. All goaltenders have a complete stinker in a season, but Hartely didn't have a choice but to keep Hiller in. Have to believe Ortio gets in the game if he had his contacts. Could have been the difference.

Brutal game for most of the team.

Hiller was horrible, Wideman was worse. Byron with his patented clear cut breakaway, fire it into the goalie's pads move, Monahan with his worst game of the year by far.

Brodie probably had the worst two goal game you could have, Gio couldn't make a pass, Gaudreau with his third weak game in a row. Looks like Hudler hasn't got a minute of sleep since his kid was born.

Only bright spots were the play of Backlund and Stajan really. Their lines were ok, although really only Backlund was going on whatever line he was moved around too.

Blah.

I wouldn't say the Flames were bad all around. They scored 5 fricken goals. Defensively they weren't that great at times, but a couple Hiller let in the average goaltender could have stopped.

Battle of Terrible Goaltenders tonight. Hiller lost this game for us but at the same time, the whole team would have take advantage of Montoya suckiness as well. Pretty crappy game to watch and I am more ticked off tonight than seeing the Flames lose 2-3 goals from a good team. Hartley would have put Ortio even without wearing contact lens and maybe we win the game.

On the positive note : Brodie 2 goals, Stajan 2 goals, Backlund a goal and an assist.

Stupidest game ever. Hiller was terrible. Raymond is a waste of a roster space.

The team in front of him did score 5 goals though. I get that Florida had brutal goaltending as well, but Hiller gets a F tonight when a D- would have got two points for the Flames.

Good to see Hiller proving Anaheim wrong again. Terrible game for him, I know he has been good but this one he was absolutely terrible. Can't lose games when the team scores 5 goals. Very tough road trip ahead, hopefully the Flames find a decent defender to play 3rd pairing because Smid/Engelland/Diaz are a nightmare.

To be fair it would've not been even close if the Panthers had Luongo in goal. It was a half-assed effort by the whole team.

Hiller was awful, but so were a Smid, Engelland, Wideman, Russell, and a glut of forwards.

Hard to draw any conclusions from a game like this. Absolutely zero flow.
