I think he's a career AHL guy who could be a good option as a call up in the NHL if they needed someone in a 6/7 role.

I don't think he will beat out Wotherspoon or Sieloff for a full time spot on the NHL team, but he does have age and experience and he could be like a Potter where if they need someone as a 7th guy, he would be an option.

I don't think he will ever be a full time NHL player. Although if he would like to prove me wrong, that would be just fine.

Vause with another good shot that produced a good rebound, but no one there to take the shot. Sparks would have been beat if someone was on that puck.

Ortio making a huge save on McKeig to keep this scoreless in the final minute.

Knight with a great scoring chance but McKeig trips him up and takes the penalty.

Flames to their 3rd PP in the 1st.

Apparently it's McKegg. Oops

His jersey was folded the first time I saw the name...

Huska Interview:

Marlies play a structured game and Flames have had problems against those types of teams. Flames need to support pucks with more speed. Flames need to find more compete and determination against those teams.

Flames didn't have pace they like to play with against the Marlies. No support for the guy with the puck in the last game. When Marlies are doing well, there is a lot of play in the neutral zone. Flames need to get to front of the net and accept the checks in order to win those battles and get pucks.

Flames need to shut down the little fast guys on the Marlies. Need to take away their space, not let them get the speed. Flames need to stick to their game plan not play the Marlies game in order to get the win. Players need to get excited to get on track at home now.

Glad to have Knight back. He's been missed on PK and PP and faceoffs. Guys have stepped up in his absence but nice to have him back.

PK has been stellar. Players making good read and reads off each other. It's something they have pride in. They could be better and working on some little things. Goalies doing a great job on the PK as well.

Flames have been watching the WJ and there's a few friendly wagers between the Canadian and US guys on the team.

Reinhart snaps an 8 game pointless streak.

Max Reinhart scores just after Max & Reinhart lead Canada to the win at the World Juniors.

Coincidence? Yeah, probably.

Poor Griffin. Now he is the only Reinhart that didn't score. He'll have to recycle that tweet of his.

In case you are out of the loop:

I am not the Reinhart who scored. That was Sam. Your first hint should've been that it was a goal scored
He's been answering tweets about today's goals too. I think he enjoys it.

And we have a couple little scrums now in the face off circle. I don't think much will come of it.

Vause and Baertschi with a great chance on the PP but Sparks is playing out of his mind. That was probably 3 or 4 saves on the pair of them.

Culkin takes a holding call so the Marlies will go to the PP as the Flames one has just expired.

Culkin was trying to help out Ortio but little sloppy.

Reinhart in all alone but he puts it over the goal.

Flames controlling the puck on the Marlies PP here. Great shorthanded chance.
