It'll be renamed the Gaudreau.

If he keeps up this level of play I don't see why not as he's dominating games at times which is impressive for a rookie. That said it's a long season and Druin could be a factor when all is said and done. Regardless it's been a very encouraging start to the season for the kid.

All i can say is imagine if it managed to get a 1 point/game average like he did in the NCAA? Just saying.

He's certainly starting to get a lot of attention on top of his points. Should help.

If he continues to produce the way he has so far, most certainly he should be given serious consideration.
Gaudreau just makes things happen every time he is on the ice. He makes his linemates better and he throws the other team into moments of chaos and panic. Plus, he has given all us fans something to tune in to see each game. There haven't been many Flames in the past that have that special X-factor and it is truly fun to watch.

The Flames are now looking to get him the puck so that he can play his game. It will benefit his stats and the team. He looks like he'll be an assist machine.

Despite the slow start, he is now right on his NHLe projected pace of 0.67 PPG
(yes, small sample size, just saying...)

Food for thought:
Mike Cammalleri: 5g/2a/7p
Johnny Hockey: 2g/8a/10p
Just saying...

True. In the first few games he had really short shifts and Gio/Brodie werent looking to him to outlet. He got the puck only rarely.

Gaudreau currently 3rd on the rookie list.
Undrafted Josh Jooris is on par (or slightly better) then Edmonton's 3rd overall pick Leon Draisaitl.

Cammy is injured and Gaudreau has 6 assists, not 8.

It will be interesting to see how he does when other teams start paying more attention to his play.
At some point teams are going to have someone checking him and how he deals with that will give us a better idea of just how good he can be.

No question.
Having said that, I have noticed teams double-teaming him in their own zone already.
Hasn't seemed to matter.

I honestly find it's a good thing and will continue to be once other teams focus on him more, as it opens up JG's linemates.
The guy has played incredible hockey these last couple weeks.

While funny, doesn't mean much, or anything at all. One is 18, the other is 24. I remember when this time last year Oil Stain was Staining about Marco Arcobell-o-o was one of the top rookie scorers along with Monahan.
That said, Leon Draisatl is no Sean Monahan.
