You can guarantee McGrattan will draw back in against the rough and tumble Blues. Also, Stastny suffered a quad contusion against the Rangers and is a game time decision, along with Patrick Berglund, but both are likely to play. Don't be shocked to see backup Jake Allen, who is more than capable, in net against a weaker offensive opponent in the Flames.
CFF Do you have any inside information or seen any articles on these possible Line-up changes?

The Blues might start Jake Allen in their home opener? He hasn't started a NHL game since end of season resting the regulars March 2013.

McGrattan in- Jones or who else out? St.L doesn't roll 4 lines so why should the Flames?

Gaudreau out because he has been over-whelmed..and needs a breather?.. Stegouchi has forced his way in?

Any speculation on Wideman playing or not?

First, thank you for using the work discombobulated. Especially in the same sentence as the Oilers. It's an under utilized word, IMO.

Second, I expect a loss this evening but I'm hoping for a better effort than the first two periods against Edmonton.

Third, I am interested to see if Setoguchi will start to show some of the skill that made him a first round draft pick now that its regular season. (Assuming he is playing that is.)

Until we hear otherwise. Lineups based on last game.

No articles of any kind. Just a hunch based on how everyone has played so far. Also, we will likely see the backup a lot this year, and Jake Allen is a quality goaltender that will push Elliott a lot this year. Of course, as sure loss pointed out, Elliott has great numbers against us, so he'll probably start.

No word on Wideman, but Diaz looked better than him, so I think Diaz will stay in the lineup unless the coaches want more size at defense.

Will update the lines shortly.

I'm personally comfortable with either Hiller or Ramo in net. The only real difference from the level of goaltending in the Vancouver versus the Oilers game is that we won against Edmonton cause we were able to generate offense. I though Hiller and Ramo were both great

Not sure why Hiller is in. Ramo has a 38 save steal last game. Thought he earned another start.

Randy Sportak @SUNRandySportak
Don’t see Jiri Hudler or David Jones on the ice for #Flames morning skate. Jones was out very briefly but left.

something may be up

And because it looks like that, means Flames win 3-2.

Buy a lot of alcohol though, just in case.

Probably the case regardless of the Flames lineup vs the Blues

They were going to get killed tonight no matter who we dressed or what lines we came up with. St. Louis is a damn stacked team.

Roger Millions @RogMillions
#Flames Coach Hartley tells me Hudler most likely out with Flu. David Jones likely out lower body injury.

Game time for me is 0100 am. I expect that I won't be drinking.

But it would be awesome for the Flames if they tried him on RW and he did really well.
