Not Necessarily. Really does depend on what they get back in return for him. At this point (healthy scratch tonight), it's probably better if they move him now. Does seem like theres and chance at making amends between the team and Kane. Why keep someone you dont want or someone who does not appear to want to be there?

I agree that Kane isnt helping himself, but trading him isnt necessarily going to be a mistake.

If it turns out that it just isnt working, then you have to do something. Keeping a discontented player around is bad for the team, bad for the market and bad for the pocketbook.

I'm not saying that Kane is a bad player or a bad person or that Winnipeg is a bad team or a bad market, but sometimes people and places just dont fit.

Although Winnipeg is a miserable place.
