I'm generally pretty sensitive to this stuff, I don't think this thread is that bad. Sure, there is an undercurrent of "women should be sexy to be on TV" and "women are judged by their looks", but I think you have to appreciate that many here are specifically mentioning that they don't consider her just a pretty face, but actually someone who can do her job.
(Which actually I think too, although I generally don't care for the type of journalism that she does for the team most for the time, but that's a matter of taste. She gets the players to loosen up.)
Now that the topic is up, I feel rather good about where CP has gone on this the last years. Sure, there's always someone who makes the bad-players-are-girly (or gay) jokes, and the humour threads can sometimes be... Eh.
It's a big crowd with a lot of young men, there's always someone. What I think is important to notice is that those jokes don't generally seem to go that well anymore, and there's usually someone to go "not cool bro", which I think is as it should be. (Because it's not cool.)
EDIT: she was also absolutely hired for her looks, as women in that kind of jobs generally are, so personally I think comments on the topic are somewhat unavoidable. As long as you keep it respectful, meh, I don't see it as a problem.

yeah it is good to see a reporter covering hockey who is "not just a pretty face" and actually is passionate about, and has experience in hockey. Even though she admitted she was a stay at home defensive player, she could still beat a player worth a second round pick at a multi-million dollar contract 
I may have just made a sexist comment by the standards of some in this thread though...

Pretty happy with her, I really enjoy how happy she is on the feed all the time. I was watching the california Fox Sports feed last night and the Ducks female reporter didn't seem very enthusiastic or upbeat about what she was doing...
I do remember, I think about a year ago, it seemed like Rob Kerr really didn't like her when they were on screen together, I wonder if there was anything to that or if he's just a strange guy who's difficult to read.
