Do not companies like POINTS represent you in court on your behalf in your absence?
Or is it just the monetary penalty that has you in a lather?
It stinks getting a ticket. My last ticket was for 10km over in a 90 zone... really.
I was on my motorbike passing a car. Sucked to be me that day

Before there was Markie Post, there was Ellen Foley, who also sang on Bat Out Of Hell.

And who was the inspiration for The Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go?"

In some more recent pictures she bears a disturbing resemblance to Michael Jackson.

Even the friken cop that gave me my latest had a smurk on his face when he said "sir, you can fight it if you don't agree with it"...yeah ok you f#^%in prick!
Other provinces have night court for this, why not Alberta?

What the heck, I'll bite...
Why are you innocent and I am sure that's exactly why the cop was smirking.

Let's say you get your ticket during the day, and the cop works the day shift. Why should he, or she, have to show up at night to accommodate your schedule?
Do you get a speeding ticket once a year? Maybe try the pedal to the left of the gas pedal. Maybe you have a valid complaint here, but without any details, I can't say. Most of the people I've heard from who are unhappy with their speeding tickets, usually say things like 'cash grab', 'quota', 'other crimes to be solved', etc. I very seldom hear that they were driving 100 in a 100 zone, and were pulled over and told they were doing 125. I'd be curious to hear your scenario.

While growing up, my wife's neighbor was Harry Anderson. That's probably why she can't stand Mel Tormé.

No, she's fascinated by it. Hide the salami is her favorite trick. I don't think he taught her that one, though.
