sorry to bump my own thread but i'm less than a week away from returning and I wanted to thank everyone who replied, especially rage for the generous ticket donation

I just wanted to ask if there were any tips for while i'm there? specifically around the flames, such as events that might be happening those few days, places to go as a flames fan, etc.
also, if there is anyone here who might have any pull or connection for a dome tour (since the official ones are cancelled) please pm me.

I hope I can see 2 wins and if you see someone at the game with a vintage Roberts home jersey, that's me.

Not Specifically around the Flames: but the FIBT North American Bobsleigh Cup event is at COP from the 11-16. I go and check out the events at COP every so often, a lot are free and some pretty neat sports you dont see everyday. Personally I like taking a thermos of coffee and baileys and chilling in the 360 turn, pretty awesome how fast these guys are going.

EDIT - The Canadian Sports Hall of fame at COP(Winsport) is also worth spending an afternoon in.
