Nemisz has already signed a 1 year deal $750,000 contract. I assume it was his QO

I think it's a take off on some idiot saying Brodie has character problems just to get a rise out of posters.

Really like Cundari's game. Short but strong. And man what a release. I think he ends up playing full time this year. Or at least gets called in on an injury and holds his place.

1yr two way leaves a lot of flexibility for the roster.

Would he go on waivers if he got assigned to the Heat?

Neither is much of a threat to get scooped though, right?
A team taking them has to put them on their NHL roster, is that how it works?

I didn't really mean anything by it. I was kinda taking a shot at an idiot poster who claimed that Brodie has character issues.
I'm sure Cundari is a good kid and like I said, I didn't think he looked out of place when he played last year. I hope he turns out to be a good NHL dman.

Green text?
The guy's personality is awesome. He's basically Conroy 2.0 in interviews. There's zero wrong with his character.
EDIT - Nevermind, just read your explanation

I know you did Nik, some others didn't really get the joke so I figured I'd explain it.

Aw man, this signing of a small player means the Flames have no room for Gaudreau. /richardodw
Good signing. Should give him a chance to show what he can do and let the Flames make a decision on him long term during the season.

They will likely start the year in Abby unless they really impress at camp and earn a spot over our top 7. This way there is no waiver needed. Then they call them up as needed with no waiver, from what I understand.
EDIT: Or are they considered part of our top 7? Yikes..

We should have signed him for $3M a year for 7 years, and hoped for the best. Now we're wasting cap space on nothing.

If team that claims them wants to demote them they would have to offer him on waivers to all other teams that put in a waiver claim, if there were no others or no one takes them they have to be offered back to the Flames and the Flames would then be able to demote them if they so choose.
But being demoted right at the end of training camp is the best way to sneak them through.

My favourite time of the year on CP. The annual freak-outs when a bunch of guys who will never be claimed are put on waivers by the Flames are a thing of beauty.

last year season both Irving and Karlsson were demoted was epic. Sadly I don't remember how I reacted so I won't take any shots at anyone lol.

Cundari's the safest bet to be a full time NHLer, IMO, but I think Agostino has the higher potential upside.
Hanowski's a clear 3rd place.
