Good luck to him, I think he plays ~50 games in the NHL this year and gets a nice raise next year

he didn't look too bad in the couple games last year, if it's him I'm remebering. If he's good, we have a young D to move forward. If he's terrible, well we end up with a better draft pick I guess...

Love all these short contracts. Players have to prove themselves plus a lot of versatility. Win, win situation.

Excellent news. Good price too, he played worth that last year for sure. Perhaps even slightly more.

Wow Feaster.. over paid by at least 30k.. what are you doing man.
Very good signing, he is a guy I hope can earn himself a roster spot out of training camp.

I thought he looked OK too for a raw player. I can see the upside with him.

so is this only a one year deal because of his character issues?

Have a good feeling about Cundari. Reminds me a bit of Andrew Ference. Reads the play well, good puck control and while not the biggest guy plays a solid physical game.
Out of him Agostino and Hanowski like him the most.

Yes, at prospect camp be punched a puppy over and over until it was just a pink mist ... probably cost himself 125K a year.

Nice. Good contract. He played pretty well at the end of the season, so I hope he can continue that into this season.

I really liked what I saw out of Cundari to end the season, he could turn into another Giordano for us. Mean, plays above his size, and good offensive instincts.

Except for I don't remember Ference often skating right up and sniping the top corner of the net on a PP.. That was pretty impressive.

Cundari and Breen are both qualifying offers I think. Look for the Neimz, Byron and Bancks to accept their QO's as well. IIRC, QO's are one year deals at the minimum you are aloowed to sign the RFA to. If Brodie takes his QO (which he won't) I would be very surprised.

I am excited to see what Cundari is going to bring. He looked really good to me at the end of the season.
