Lewis looking like he wants to play on the O line. Holy crap is he huge.
Parker needs to take a significant step this year, especially with Franklin gone and now with Bauman hurt.
One of my favorite plays from last year was when Lewis blew up Greg Peach on a block. I believe before this game Peach was chirping to the paper about how Lewis couldn't block him.

On Sunday, Sinopoli served notice of his intention of cracking the lineup at his new position for the 2013 season with five catches in the Red vs. White mock game at McMahon Stadium.
On a day where the offence struggled mightily to move the ball — no matter the identity of the quarterback — Sinopoli stood out for all the right reasons.
“Brad did an excellent job of catching the football in a crowd,” said head coach/general manager John Hufnagel.
Quote:
These are early days, but count quarterback Drew Tate among the folks impressed with the potential displayed by No. 3.
“He caught the ball well,” Tate said. “He’s running routes well. He’s seeing things. He knows what he’s doing. He seems to have a lot of confidence.”
Confidence and silky hands to boot.
“It doesn’t surprise me,” Tate said. “Last year, the guy was running routes on scout team, and he was doing exactly what he is doing now.
“The guy catches everything.”
Quote:
As a career pivot, Sinopoli could have sulked when he realized his time at the position was drawing to a close. But he dedicated himself over the winter to the long journey of mastering a new craft.
He realized there’s no sense wasting energy over what might have been.
“I just wanted to play football, to be honest with you,” he said. “I was just happy to have another chance.”
And happy — based on his high school experience — at having a chance that doesn’t involve lining up as the quarterback of the defence at free safety.
“Whatever makes me keep playing football,” he said, “that makes me happy.”

There is no benefit to Sinopli being Canadian as a quarterback, as the QB position doesn't count against the ratio. Being a Canadian as a receiver helps Sinopli.
If they can't keep their CFL team afloat this time yet again, next time around they shouldn't be allowed an expansion draft. If we lose BLM I'm going to be quite PO'ed.
Of course this has to happen when it looks like the Stamps might be the only team with a decent QB depth chart.
If I was Huffnagel I'd be trying to get BLM to be the full time starter by week 10-12. Protect him and lose Tate. Tate will probably be injured by then anyway...

Ottawa will select three players from each of the eight existing teams for a total of 24 players. Ottawa will select eight import players and 16 non-import players with quarterbacks, kickers and punters eligible within their respective import/non-import categories. Ottawa will be able to select a maximum of two quarterbacks and one kicker/punter, but they may not select any of these three players from the same team. The CFL Commissioner will resolve any dispute related to player eligibility for the Expansion Draft process. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_CFL_Expansion_Draft
I believe Lewis was listed at 240 lbs last year as well. Astonishing for a guy only 5'10 that he can carry that weight and still be effective.
Game tonight was a soggy one (only stayed for the first half). Tate didn't get anything going on offence, whereas Glenn lead two scoring drives (one long, one short). Looks like BLM had decent numbers as well. Will be interesting how the reps get shared in the last pre-season game; I can see all three guys getting playing action this year, injury or otherwise.
Tate was bad, bad, bad. Glenn was very good (other than two throws), it looks like he is playing for his job. BLM had the toughest job of the QBs as he was playing in the downpour, but did alright. Calgary RBs need to work on their ball security.
BC's #83 (I think it's Williams) was easily the player of the game. To go along with that, Stamps' cover teams need some work.
