mine is a simple gold ban. i don't like wearing any 'jewelery' (no watch, necklace, or anything) so i don't wear it.

the cool thing about my ring is it was my grandfather's wedding band and it was made from the gold in his mother's wedding band.... so there's a little history with the ring

I got my wife's ring made out of this as she has a nickel allergy. Super durable and I think has the appearance you are looking for.

18 mm hex nut; very unique, and only 45¢ at your local hardware store.

Has a machined brush steel finish with a helical inclined plane inlay

I got mine from Etsy.com (http://www.etsy.com) and some jeweler out of the US. It's a tungsten ring and cost about 60 bucks.

I spent two months going to various Jewlers in Calgary looking for anything that I would even remotely want to wear and everything was at least a couple hundred bucks. So we went online and got something that looked a 100 time better than anything at a Jewlers and I have no problems wearing.

Most comfortable ring I've ever worn.

Material is Cobalt, purchased from Birks.

I originally bought a tungsten carbide one off of amazon for $80, but the wife wanted me to spend a little more on my wedding ring.

Here's my watch (aka man jewelery, as someone referred it to):

If it stays shiny without polishing, it's not silver!

Mine looks like this except reversed. Yellow gold on the outside, white gold on the inside. It's a celtic knot.

That's what I got for myself as well. Wanted something a little geeky so was looking into different metals. Palladium is naturally white and just as shiny as platinum

if I got married I'd get a Black Zirconium ring (google it). But anybody that knows me knows I won't be getting married ever... So maybe I should just buy one

I have an 8mm domed, brushed finish tungsten carbide ring. No polished bevels or anything. I had the same criteria you described. Cost me about $200, but you can probably find them for much cheaper.
