First snowfall of the year that sticks to the ground, and there's traffic issues? Weird, never heard of that before...

i agree... it is gross in the valley bottom in jan/feb... but you just head up to a ski hill for a blast of sun and a fun day

well i'm guessing the issue is more than slow moving traffic now. just tried attempting getting into the city again and hwy 1 is still not moving and i saw some cops with lights on driving along the shoulder, so i'm assuming some accident has at least the westbound lanes closed. oh well, now i can work in my underwear

Yeah I was by the Tim Hortons and seen that. Luckily I work here so my commute is 3 minutes.

How hard is it to lay down some salt, I thought for sure that road would be fine by now.

Like his boss won't have access to his address.

Still not convinced on the treatment of parasite communities this way. It's a lot easier with a toll rather than making it icy on ramps. We don't want to kill them, we just want their fair share of taxes!haha

For the record, doing this is one of the most annoying things people do on this forum.

I found it quite amusing if you looked at Calgary's and Kelowna's long range forecast. it's going to be hotter here. hehe

Completely agree, this really GMG. Sorry for going off topic, but why does it seem like everytime Calgary gets cold, people from other Canadian places have to mention how warm it is where they live?

Guess what, temperatures vary and Calgary can also be warmer than the rest of the country too! We had an amazing September and I didn't hop onto a Manitoba hockey forum to laugh at them for their snow!

And sorry, it's not like BC is Florida or California. I'm not jealous of your weather.

Wow oversensitive people on here. I don't have a problem with BC Chris doing a little bit of weather trashtalking. Besides he has to pay PST which is way worse.
