Just my 2 cents if we ever get a Rainbow 6 movie. The casting of John Clarke in the only 2 Tom Clancy movies so far in Willem Dafoe (Clear Present Danger) and Liev Schreiber (Sums of All Fears) I wasn't a fan of. Raymond Cruz, who played Chavez in Clear Present Danger was good though.

I thought Willem Dafoe would have been a better choice, but the whole script for Clear and Present Danger was badly butchered when you compare it to the really good book, and one of the last good Jack Ryan books. Once they hit the presidential arch it got stupid.

I really think Clint Eastwood in his younger days would have been the only choice for John Clark, especially with how they described him.

While I liked the Rainbow 6 book with the environmentalists getting their just due, they really didn't let Rainbow last very long.

I would love to see them make a movie out of Without Remorse, it was a pure John Clark book, and was a great flashback to a fairly cool character.

Plus he tortures dudes and shoots them in the face.

They announced it in 2008 and then it disappeared after the writers strike and we've had no news since.
