Dri was out almost the entire OT. Avs got two shift changes in while he was out.
McD had a very long shift, went off, got right back on and got promptly scored on.

Yes sir…..and at one point Woodcroft called a timeout so he could put them back out there again.

Looking only at wins and losses the Oil are 5-7 in their last 12 games. Over this period when McD plays less that 22 minutes they have a record of 4-1, when he plays over 22 minutes they are 1-6. Neat?

It is absolutely embarrassing how that team deploys their players. The bottom two lines barely played. Holloway played a little over 7 mins

Not surprising, it is pretty obvious McDavid calls his own ice time. You don’t have that many coaches up there come and go doing the same thing over and over. He even said on after hours he is concentrating more on points……… like so before you were playing defensively?? Holy moly

Last night the line of Hyman - Draisatl - Nuge played 10:55 of 5v5 hockey vs the Avs, most of any Oilers lines.
They were outshot 1-11, out chanced 0-11, and controlled 2.67% of the expected goal share.

I think this is correlation rather than causation and is true for every team(though probably not as severe). When losing, they combine the two Prima Donna's and double shift the super nova line for extra piss and whine. When winning he trots out the peasants. This does once again prove though that they just ain't deep enough
