Maybe.
Is there a third string goalie they can pull Koskinen for?

Love that the Flames are all saying they left Markstrom out to dry
Not even a hint of suggesting the goaltending was the issue even though it’s obvious
This is a team playing for each other

That line not scoring isn't on Jarnkrok. I don't understand the Jarnkrok hate at all. He plays hard every single shift, and does some very important stuff out there. There is no world in which Rucizka is a better fit right now.

It was a wild night at the Dome. Absolute dream start. Loved every second of it when we chased Smith. Felt great to go up 5-1 when the Oilers got a goal. I couldn’t believe they got back in the game to make it 6-6 but pleased with the third to close it out.

Hate that there are Oiler fans at the Dome and there will be way more on Friday I bet. We will see a different game but the Flames had their way getting to the net and getting chances it was nothing like Dallas. Markstrom needs to be better and I think he will. Hoping to get that 2-0 lead heading back north

I agree he may not score but he is fast relentless puck retriever

I didn't think Markstrom was that horrible.

Goal 1 - not his fault
G2 - savable but not his fault
G3 - his fault, savable and needs to have better positioning and not be so small. That was weakest goal in my opinion and completely his fault.
G4- his fault, see above but flames did let Hymen come around the net and take clean shot from high danger zone.
G5 - savable but that's a high scoring area with Draisaitl. Need to be better defensively
G6 - not his fault, he made good first save and is giving up that rebound so coverage needs to be better

For sure at least 2 goals he normally stops but they need to stop playing river hockey when Draisaitl and McDavid are on the ice. That's all the oilers have and Markstrom needs to stop the Hymen goals. That is the most one dimensional team I've ever watched so lets shut them down better game 2.
