Back when we hired Gulutzan, a common refrain was
"this new system is basically a variation on what 90% of the league uses. Hartley's system was what the other 10% of the league uses"
In that sense, I don't think it's crazy to say that on that spectrum of extreme, Gulutzan, Peters, Ward, Sutter all have the same basic philosophy.
But in execution, the 90% of the league that doesn't play a Hartley-style system, will still have significant variations from team-to-team, coach-to-coach.
That's my take.
