At the bare minimum, let Ward go and run with an interim until you figure out the next move.
You want to save the season, you have to do something here. They didn't learn from last Thursday as they've gone right back to that awful hockey.
There is a major flaw in how they're preparing and the system they are currently running.

They came out ready for much of the first period but collapsed like a badly-pitched tent as soon as Ottawa opened the scoring.
It's as though the Flames play to avoid going down 2-0 instead of trying to tie the game back up. Nothing else could explain their uber-conservative responses.

Get rid of the GM now so the new guy can come in and get a good gauge of what he can move major pieces for in the off season.
