I love how this gets posted everytime people criticize management for blessing us with yet another tirefire of a game.
The good news is I only need to wait at most another 3 games before I get to see the Flames get dumped on again!

Well, we're about to see what kind of coach Gulutzan is. Does he make adjustments? Does he send Lack to the showers? Does he tattoo Brodie to the bench? Does he give Versteeg another shift? Or does he do what Glenn Gulutzan does and do nothing? Should be an interesting 2nd period.

Stone and Brodie. Versteeg off the PP (not because of the fall. He just shouldn't be there). Gillies in. Lack hasn't had any help, but he could/should have had a couple of those.

I doubt the Flames will throw Gillies out there when the team are making this many unforced errors. Would be a confidence killer.

So fking negative after several great games by the team.

I thought it would. Lack can be a decent back up and was in a bad situation the last couple years. Of course only seeing him twice so far this year as a starter isn't going to help things. He needs to get his legs under him and he'll be fine.
I'm perfectly fine keeping Lack for the year and making a decision then.

I don't blame the score on Lack, but I also don't have any faith that Lack is ever going to make the clutch saves that are going to make or break a game.

Wow crazy story on Datsyuk with a Calgary connection. He could have been a Flame if not for bad weather.

His fault or not it's still his job to stop shots. What good is he if he doesn't? Not all goals are on the goalie, but most saves are. I was hoping Lack would prove himself tonight as this may be his only chance, and I guess he's proving himself in all the wrong ways.

Exactly. Lack is a veteran. He knows what he needs to do in a game like this. Gillies might be good, but if he starts letting in goals too, you might ruin him mentally.

Yep... Gulutzan has to adjust alike how he did last game and they might have an outside chance.
I feel Gillies would be pumped to make a statement and energize his teammates.

Flames have the scoring touch lately, so it's not over yet. But we can't be gifting high quality chances non-stop when our goalie looks unable to make a big save.
At the very least, we have 2 days off again after this. Maybe Smith will be ok by then...
