Brodie, Versteeg and Lack look terrible tonight. Gotta hope the Flames can dig their way out of this one. But it's gonna start with Lack hopefully figuring his game out cause right now he is not proving that he is a reliable backup.

I honestly feel like other then our D forgetting what exactly hockey is. The forwards have been pretty good (remove Versteeg). I think the way we are playing we can easily score 4 more goals in the next two periods. Game is probably over. Put Gillies in and lets see what he can do. I never understood why Lack was brought in. Flames have two capable goalies in the AHL that can provide backup duties for 10-15 games.

Flames actually the better team for a good portion of that period, but they just make so many brutal mistakes and it ends up in the back of their net.

Brodie has been awful tonight, and Lack isn't much better. And for the love of all things good and pure, please get Versteeg off the PP.

Lack isn’t getting much help but he has to make a big stop at least once.

Not sure what happened with Versteeg there, but it didn’t look good.

Way too many terrible giveaways by the flames d in their own zone. That has to be cleaned up.

Still forty minutes left I expect some push back by the Flames.

Flames just had a great 5-2 homestand. One bad road period after that with our backup playing due to an emergency and the sky is falling? Seems silly to me.

Let's all be honest, no one actually thought this Lack experiment was gonna work. He was a tire fire last season. Carolina was probably shocked a team wanted to trade for him and not just wait till they waived him.
