I have to admit to slight pangs of jealousy. While logically I'm not sure how big his impact will be on the ice as each year passes and he gets closer to 50, it's a pretty fun story and will create some memories this year for sure. Might have been fun to have him in Edmonton, but I'm not sure how big a loss it will be on ice. Congrats either way.
edit - now I can only hope we sign Iginla.

If this store is legit (I do believe they are, with all the eBay positive feedbacks and such), we do really want to talk to them and see if we can get a group order and clean out their retro 3rd stock... Any thoughts?

Really happy about this signing. Something I would never think will be possible, to see Czech all time best player in a Flames uniform. But here it is! It is happening! Will do everything I can to come this season, but money is always the issue....but who knows.....
Czech media are now full of this signing, it will be No. 1 thing tonight in all news etc. Really something I am not used to, CGY was never No.1 club in Czech media, so I will need to get used to that this season for sure. It will be Calgary in every sports Czech news, everyday. Really new situation for me :-)

Cool signing in terms of giving a living legend on the team. Can't see him having any sort of impact, he's slow as they come, the boys up North will be skating circles around him

There aren't any 3rd jerseys this year according to the previous reports.
3rd jerseys aren't one offs though, you'll see those.
The outdoor games will still have different jerseys then the regular home-away ones. The Flames have never done a retro night without the classic reds. Even the year they swapped the retros for the cowboy thirds they still used it for a retro night in March during the 2013-2014 season.
So what will they wear on retro night?? Surely Addidas and the Flames can see the money making potential of marketing a retro Addidas jersey? Especially now with Jagrmania in full swing.

Hmm, that's true. There are still going to be the one-off outdoor jerseys, why not a retro one?
