Schneider was less proven but he was as much of a sure thing as any young goaltender in the NHL.
He was signed for multiple years, wasn't 30 years old. Bishop doesn't have that kind of value.

Thats a rumor on his ask could be if he wants 7 years its for 5.5 take the term and guaranteed contract extension and retire a Flames with at least 2 cups
