Last nights game was the perfect example of why Corsi can be flawed at times.
Corsi had the Canucks up 70-38 in the Corsi stat.
Yet everyone that left that game thought, "the Canucks just couldn't generate offense and didn't have much push back.".

Red Mile was epic. Shout out to the Canucks fan we convinced to burn his jersey and then got arrested for it! Epic.

Having said that, Lucic is a more underhanded dirty player.
I just don't see them as direct comparables.

Ferland had significantly better numbers in juniors than Lucic did plus he is a much better skater. He's also put up decent points in the last 2 AHL seasons. It's not unrealistic to think that Ferland has the potential to score 20+ goals a few times.

Please tell me there's a video of this.

I have a video of our pathetic attempts of lighting it but I don't have the video of him being arrested. He was so confused as to what just happened too... It looked like he was doing his best Bieksa impression.

Forget prediction power, Corsi can't even get the knack of hindsight

It was definitely quieter overall last night. The crowd was loud at times but there were a lot more lulls during the play and it was especially noticeable during the second and third periods. I am not sure if it was nerves but on Sunday the crowd knew when to get a chant going.

Well I can tell you that PL 11 was doing their very best. Although I think we chanted "EDDDDDDDDDDDIIIIIEEEEEE" more than anything else.
He's just such an easy target!

I really wish after the intro video they wouldn't play music until after the game has started.
Let the crowd chant, and have Harvey out to get it going or set the pace. Otherwise you hear 2 different timed chants fighting each other.

ferland really is growing as a player he was offensively one of the most dangerous flames last night and generated a ton of chances off his forecheck .... Bieksa calling him dumb must have lit a fire under him because he is playing so smart and disciplined it's incredible for an agitator.

The Flames were purposely playing a boring defensive game, which doesn't result in as much crowd excitement. If the Canucks had potted one, the noise would have ramped up.
