Mackinnon has 3g, 4a, 7p in 4 playoff games.

Really can't go wrong with either guy, but Mackinnon has been doing it for longer, so here's the better bet to succeed in the NHL, IMO.

I comfort myself by knowing this is the worst it will ever be. There really is nowhere to go but up after this season.

Next year we will actually have a highly skilled young player or two to watch on the Flames. We will have players in the minor leagues to follow instead of guys like Ben Street and Krys Kolanos.

The beginning is always the toughest part of a rebuild.

Yup, he and the 4th line are the only players putting in a consistent effort these days. Would love to get him on a multi-year deal this off season, should be great value.

We do need defencemen, but you don't use a top 3 pick on one. Quality Defencemen can be had with later picks.
