Meh. We pounded the Oilers for a decade. Even if this rebuild goes slower than planned, we won't suck it nearly as hard as they did.

So they can take whatever pathetic glory they find in beating us in a couple games that mean literally nothing to this team.

They still won't actually "contend" for decades.

Current reason being they have no elite D, or elite goaltender. No Keith/Seabrook, and no Quick. Of course that's management's fault for thinking that drafting top forwards for consecutive years would somehow erase that whole blemish.

If a team with the likes of Duchene, ROR, Stastny, Hejduk, Johnson, etc., finishes below this team... unbelievable.

They REALLY want Seth Jones.
