Last time I saw some excessive crawling on CP I figured it was easier just to throttle the crawler or ban them outright. Many crawlers obey the robots.txt file.

It can be a bit cat and mouse if the crawler ignores that and has a large pool of IPs but I'd be surprised if they overlapped much with real users' IP addresses.

It really comes down to where you get your news from. Many right wing types are convinced their news is their own research and not targeted towards them, while the rest of us are the sheeple that just believe whatever we're told.

To be honest, I like reading the political stuff on here and this board skews right to what I'm used to.

Default setting of CPC is a different experience for me, and I read the political threads on here daily for that reason.

I also find it strange to see Pro-Harper, Anti-Liberal, Big Oil supporters being called 'leftists'.
